Hi, I’m Melissa Harris, owner and head coach of HabitWell Nutrition.

My journey into nutrition coaching started with my own health struggles. At just 31 years old, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. After going through chemotherapy, radiation, and 10 surgeries, I’m incredibly grateful to now be cancer-free. But treatment took a toll on my body, and I found myself carrying a significant amount of extra weight.

That’s when everything changed.

Through fitness, nutrition, and the support of my own coach, I was able to lose nearly 90 pounds in a sustainable way. What started as a personal transformation quickly became a passion—and ultimately, a purpose.

I know what it feels like to look in the mirror and not recognize your body. I know how overwhelming it can be to figure out where to start, especially with so much conflicting information out there. That’s where coaching makes all the difference. You don’t have to do it alone.

My approach isn’t about quick fixes, extreme restriction, or cutting out the foods you love. Instead, I help you build simple, realistic, repeatable habits that create lasting results—so you can feel confident maintaining them for life.

Outside of coaching, you’ll find me traveling with my husband, cheering on my son at his baseball games, reading, or relaxing at home with our dogs. I also love spending time with friends and soaking up the little moments that make life full.
